Brackett School Housing Project
Hartford, Connecticut

This is an affordable housing project that includes the construction of twenty new residential structures for 40 families along Naugatuck Street Expansion and Westland Street in the city of Hartford.

The project consists of two types of residential units: Eight two-family duplexes and 12 two-family housing units. The two types are consistent in concept with detail variations on the front façade. Gable roofs, wood porches and bay windows are incorporated into the front elevations. The use of similar finishes; siding, roof shingles and traditional double hung windows tie the two types together.
